Icon Class:

Graphic Novel Book Club

Curious about graphic novels or can’t get enough of them? Join us for a fun book discussion while munching on themed snacks. This month we’re reading Space Boy by Stephen McCranie. Get a copy of the book to keep and add to your collection! Books available at the Youth Services Desk.

Donuts with Dads

Saturday morning fun with stories, games and sweet treats, especially for Dads and their kids. Moms welcome, too.
No registration is required.

Fancy Feet

Got boogie fever? Need to shake a tail feather? Want to cut a rug? So do we! At this dance party hosted by Millennium Dance Center, students will learn dance fundamentals, work on their musicality and rhythm, and use their imagination through creative movement. This 30 minute class is a great way for boys and girls ages 2-5 to gain exposure to dance and music, practice some basic motor skills, and have FUN! Parents must remain in the room.

Twilight Tales

Bring the whole family for story time. Stories will be aimed at preschoolers, but all ages are welcome with an accompanying adult.

PAWS for Reading

Research shows that kids who read to certified, reading therapy dogs improve their oral reading fluency and their reading confidence. Sign up for a 15-minute time slot to read one-on-one to a special canine companion. Space is limited and parental permission is required. Register at the Youth Services desk.

Saturday Stories

Children five and under with their parents enjoy short stories, rhymes and songs. Come for stories and stay for Preschool Playdate immediately following. No registration required.

Dia de los Muertos Celebration: Coco and a Craft

What better way to celebrate Dia de los Muertos than with a screening of Disney’s Coco for all to enjoy. We will have make-and-take calaveras masks to color and decorate as well, so bring your family and friends!

Traveling World of Reptiles

Dave DiNaso brings his Traveling World of Reptiles, an up-close, live, and extremely "hands on" experience with reptiles and amphibians from around the world. With a unique blend of education and humor, this original presentation is every bit as entertaining as it is educational.
