Pick Up

Visit the library during our open hours to retrieve your print job. Our print station is located in the Adult Services Business Center. You will need a remote print confirmation code or card number associated with a computer session to release the print.

Pay

Prints cost $0.10 per page, and charges must be paid in full before library staff can release your print pages. You may pay by cash, credit/debit (Mastercard or Visa), Apple Pay, or Samsung Pay.

Mobile Printing

The library offers a remote DIY printing service, through ePRINTit.  Easily print from home or on the go, without the need to install or download software. There are three different options for sending files to print via ePRINTit.

Upload Files by Web

Visit our remote printing portal to upload documents directly from your computer or mobile device. Add files and printing instructions.

You will set a user name or ID number for your print. Be sure to keep this information–you’ll need that code to release your print job.

Attach your file(s) to an email message and send that directly to our printer. Set the “to” address in the email based on the kind of print:

You will receive a confirmation email that includes an access code that you’ll use to release your job at our print station.

Use the Mobile App

Download the ePRINTit SaaS app for your device. During setup, if you allow location access, you can more quickly find Carol Stream Library (or any other nearby participating location). Then, use the app to upload documents and provide instructions.

You will set a user name or ID number for your print. Be sure to keep this information–you’ll need that code to release your print job.

Printing Guidelines

  • Though you can send print jobs at any time, you may only retrieve prints sent via the ePRINTit service when the library is open.
  • Once submitted, your print will remain in the queue for 24 hours; any print jobs left unclaimed after that point are deleted and will need to be sent again.
  • There is a 200-page print maximum per print submission.
  • Your print job will require username or library card number/guest pass number, and payment before the job can be printed.
