Miss Adriana will guide us through an interactive storytime that pairs themed and social-emotional learning books with movement and mindfulness.

Relax with coffee, donuts and a game!  We will be learning and playing King of Tokyo in June and July, with a free play of all our games in August.

Get out of the heat and come inside for some kids yoga! Miss Adriana will lead us in themed kids poses, active games and breathing and mindfulness breaks. Yoga's a great way to experience movement and relaxation at your own pace.

This 9-week film series will include interactive writing prompts to encourage thought and reflection on the cinematic art form.

Do you love Legos? Do you love cars? If you answered yes to both, then this is the program for you. We will make a car with Legos and intend to make them move with air. Will our LEGO run with a balloon?

This month we will be reading A Boy Called Bat by Elana K. Arnold. 

Drop by this weekly social lounge for high schoolers only.  Latest video game systems, board games, and refreshing soft drinks will be available. Happy summer!

It's been a while, but summer chess is back and in-person at the Library! Join us for this eight-week session as Mr. Steve teaches the basics of chess and provides open play time for those eager to try out their new-found knowledge.

During the eight-week session, students will compete with each other to determine who will represent Carol Stream at the inter-library chess tournament at the end of the summer.
