Come and join our Book Club’s tour through time. This month we will be reading Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. Ask for a copy of the book at the Adult Reference Desk.

Got boogie fever? Want to shake a tail feather? Students will learn dance fundamentals, work on their musicality and rhythm, and use their imagination through creative movement with an instructor from Flourish Dance Academy.

Summer chess is back at the Library! Join us for this seven-week session as Mr. Steve teaches the basics of chess, and provides open play time for those eager to try out their new-found knowledge.

During the seven-week session, students will compete with each other to determine who will represent Carol Stream at the inter-library chess tournament at the end of the summer.

Registration will open for CSPL cardholders age 16+ on July 1.

Fridays are fierce, fun and fantastic at the Library! Join us for a fabulous storytime, and stay afterwards to enjoy an hour of free play!

Calling all artists! This summer, let's learn all about different artists and their artistic styles.

Every session will focus on a different artist/movement and will include a hands-on tutorial.

Arabic Storytime is suitable for families who speak Arabic in the home as well as families interested in learning or improving on a new language. Enjoy all your favorite stories, rhymes, songs, and crafts in this half-hour of educational fun.

We’ll have playful learning stations for child and caregiver to explore this month's topic--letters--in a tactile, fun way! For ages 2-6, with caregiver. 

Drop in anytime from 10 a.m.-12p.m. to play and learn with your child.

This class is designed for children who will be entering Kindergarten this month. Big changes make everybody a little nervous - and changing from a little kid to a big kid is one of the very biggest changes there is! But don't worry!

Join us for a cozy and fulfilling session where you can relax, unwind, express yourself and connect with others! This month we will be making Butterfly Bookmarks!

QTY LIMIT: One per attendee

We will share wonderful stories, songs and rhymes for our smallest friends. An opportunity for free play and discussion    will follow the storytime.
