History of American Pies (In-Person)

Catherine Lambrecht, who achieved Grand Champion and Best of Show at the Lake County Fair for apple pie, will present the history of pies in America and our state. She will discuss how pies are a true American creation and how we took an age-old concept, adapted it with local ingredients and made it our own.

Audience members are welcome to bring in their own baked pie along with a recipe or story to share!
