This program requires acceptance of the following Waiver and Release of all Claims.

ROMA Tang Soo Do will cover the four A's: Awareness, Avoidance, Attitude, and Action.  Attendees will learn more about maintaining situational awareness and also learn basic self-defense techniques.

Attendees should wear loose comfortable clothing and be prepared to go barefoot. You will also sign a waiver upon arrival at the program.

Presenter Bios:

Pamela Russell - 4th Degree Black Belt

Ms. Russell, co-owner and chief instructor, began her formal martial arts training in 1987 in both Tang Soo Do and Hapkido. Over the last 37 years she has trained with various Master Instructors in the World Tang Soo do Association (WTSDA). She has a degree in Elementary Education and a MBA in information Systems. In 2006 Ms. Russell earned her 1st degree Black Belt in both Tang Soo Do and Hapkido. She continued her training and earned her 2nd degree in Tang Soo Do in 2008, her 2nd degree in Hapkido in 2011, 3rd degree in 2012 and her 4th degree in 2020.

Marc Oster - 3rd Degree Black Belt (currently testing for 4th Degree)

Mr. Oster, co-owner and head instructor, began his formal martial arts training in 1973. In the fall of 1974, he joined the Western Michigan University Karate Club and became a member of the United States Korean Karate Association and became a member of their demo team. Starting as an assistant instructor in the WMU Physical Education department, Mr. Oster went on to teach his own PE classes in Tang Soo Do Karate.
