Wendy Vernon, an active member of the Take a Pass on Plastics team of the Illinois Sierra Club Conservation Committee, will discuss the adverse impacts of single-use plastic on both human health and the environment. She will delve into the fate of plastic waste, the challenges surrounding its recycling and provide insights on how individuals can be part of the solution to the problem.
