In our book club just for kids in grades 4-8, we'll be reading The Van Gogh Deception by Deron Hicks. A boy is discovered at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. having no memory of who he is or why he is there. With the help of a new friend, "Art" follows a set of random clues throughout the city trying to regain his memory. Meanwhile, a high-tech art thief is in pursuit, knowing that the boy possesses dangerous information locked away in his mind that could blow the greatest art swindle of all time.
