Explore a curated list of native plants that can enliven the home garden without growing out of bounds with trained horticulturist, garden writer and editor, Heather Prince. We will examine plants for all types of sites from shady to sunny; wet to dry. Discover how to layer in natives to attract pollinators and birds, plus give you seasons of color and pleasure. For more information on Heather you can visit her website, Fearless Gardening, at fearlessgardening.net.
Since 1971, this club has been teaching members about building soil quality and taking care of garden pests naturally. A well-run ecological garden attracts birds and beneficial insects that help keep pests to a minimum and pollinate the plants. The programs are hosted by the DuPage Organic Garden Club and the Carol Stream Public Library.
When you register for this event, we will email you a link to a Zoom meeting. Participants must have a phone, tablet or laptop in order to participate. If you need any help, please send us an email at cstream@cslibrary.org or call us at 630-344-6123.
