Program Description

Event Details

According to a study from the University College Cork, playing Dungeons & Dragons has a positive impact on the social and mental well being of its players. In the game people experience social support, practice collaboration, and creative self-expression. Players enjoy a healthy escape from the stresses of daily life, feeling a sense of control and child-like joy as they explore wondrous fantasy worlds.

Dungeons & Dragons returns to the Library with exciting new adventures using the new rules from the 2024 edition. Although there will be returning players, we will have a table that is new player friendly, providing a welcoming space for people who are interested in trying the game for the first time.
