On May 1, 1991 an unassuming novel titled Star Wars: Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn released to the general public and immediately rocketed to Number 1 on the New York Times Best Seller's list. Since then hundreds of Star Wars stories have been released to the public for all age ranges.
In this fun overview of the Star Wars books saga, learn about some of the many stories that have been told including pre-1991 Star Wars stories all the way up to today with the latest publishing initiative Star Wars: The High Republic.
