Make & Take Cranberry Orange Gift Jars (Offsite)

Create a lovely mason jar filled with fragrant holiday spices to take home. This spice blend can be heated on the stove top to make your house smell festive. It's the perfect gift to give (or keep for yourself!). All supplies and instructions will be provided.

Registration will open on Monday, November 25 at 9 a.m. Please register for only one session.

Holiday Dance Workout (Offsite)

A teacher from the Carol Stream Park District will lead this high-energy, easy-to-follow cardio workout that is perfect for all fitness levels. Have fun dancing to your favorite hits from ’80s, ’90s, and today, including Zumba and Bollywood. Feel free to wear a festive hat to celebrate the holidays!

50 States Book Club (Offsite)

No book will be assigned this month, but feel free to share some of your favorite reads from 2019. We will play a white elephant book exchange game (provided by the Library) and enjoy holiday treats. New members are welcome to check out the club!

The Book Lovers' Guide to the Holidays (Offsite)

Have a book lover to buy a gift for but don’t know where to start? Our expert book selectors (a.k.a. librarians) will tip you off to the best titles. Whether you’re shopping for a newborn or a grown-up, we’ll give you plenty of ideas to help find their new favorite book. And in the gift-giving spirit, everyone in the audience can enter a prize drawing and go home with a swag bag!

All ages are welcome.

This month we’re armchair travelling to North Dakota for Native American Heritage Month. New members are welcome to join us for a lively discussion of The Round House by Louise Erdrich. Snacks will be provided. Ask for a copy of the book at the Librarians’ Desk.
