Meeting Rooms, Study Rooms, Proctoring, and Display Spaces

Study Rooms and Conference Room

The Library has four Study Rooms and a Conference Room that can be reserved up to 48 hours ahead of time in 1 hour increments. To use the rooms, patrons need to be at least of high schoool age and present a valid CSPL library card at the Adult Services Desk. For more information, please consult the Study Room Procedures or contact the Adult Services Desk at 630-344-6123.

Displaying art and information at the Library

During our Renovation Project, the bulletin board for public artwork displays will be unavailable. 

One bulletin board located in the main room of the Library may be reserved by individuals wishing to display artwork or non-profit organizations wishing to display artwork or information. The bulletin board display area measures 220" x 40". Inquiries about reserving a display area should be directed to the Head of Adult Services.

Exam proctoring

The proctoring of examinations is a service offered by the Carol Stream Public Library. The Library will offer proctoring services based on the availability of personnel, facilities, and technology to do so. A non-refundable fee of $10.00 will be charged per test per student, payable at the time of the initial request. A Test Proctoring Request form must be submitted in-person to the Reference Desk at the Carol Stream Public Library along with a non-refundable fee of $10.00.

Study Room Procedures

  • Study rooms, which include the Conference Room, are available by reservation only. Reservations can be made at the Adult Service desk (or online after Mid-March 2020).
  • Patrons must have and present at time of room reservation a valid CSPL library card.
  • These rooms are intended for use by high school students and adults.
