Raising Resilient Kids: A Workshop

Sat, January 20, 2018 -
2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Combined Room (Discovery & Horizon)

Resiliency is a set of skills that allows us to bounce back from difficult situations. Children who learn to be resilient are more confident, behave better at school, and feel more connected. Experts from RESTORE: Carol Stream Peacemakers will share skills that you can use to help your child stay resilient. Then, using the Parent Café method, you’ll practice the skills with other parents and think of ways to improve resiliency that will work for your family. If you cannot join us for this meeting or would like to attend the workshop again, join us for one of the next sessions:
Tuesday, February 13, 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 13, 6:30 p.m.
Sponsored by the Carol Stream Police Department.
